Compound is a natural resource in Astroneer. Compound appears in clusters of light gray spheres with a soft bluish glow.

Compound can be found and gathered with the Terrain Tool on all of the planets, with varying rarity on each planet.

The Soil Centrifuge produces 8 Compound with two full Canisters of Soil.

The Trade Platform gives 2 Compound for every Scrap, up to 8 total for 4 Scrap.
