Noxothane is an event item in Astroneer. It is used in the EXO Biofuel Obtainment Operation event and Breakdown Event to obtain rewards from the EXO Request Platform.

Noxothane is created by placing a Spookysquash Sample and a Mutant Elegant Spewflower Seed in a Cauldrangea.

During the Breakdown Event, Noxothane is instead obtained by using or uprooting Ice-olated Specimens in the Caves and Mantles of the Planets.

Uses

Noxothane is used for the third tier of the EXO Biofuel Obtainment Operation event, requiring 80 to obtain the PUM-KN Shelter reward. Like the other biofuels, Noxothane is also explosive, and has roughly the same blast radius as Hydrazine.

During the Breakdown Event, Noxothane is used to craft the following items :
