Chemistry Lab
The Chemistry Lab is a Crafting Module used to fuse resources to synthesize Composite Resources.
The Chemistry Lab operates by heating a metal coil to extreme temperatures, resulting in intense heat that causes the input resources to melt. Following the melting phase, it employs a high-powered pump to exert extreme pressure on the molten resources. This simultaneous application of heat and pressure facilitates the blending of the individual resources into a single, unified resource.
In certain cases, the crafting process may require a gaseous resource as fuel. The gas is incorporated into the mixture during the heating and pressurizing process. The addition of the gas aids in the fusion of the ingredients, ensuring they blend correctly to produce the desired output resource.
Upon completion of the process, a bell will ring to signal the completion of the synthesis. The chamber doors will then open, and a small tray will extend outward, presenting the newly created resource ready for use.

Trivia
- The Chemistry Lab is very similar in appearance to an earlier module known as the Hydrazine Catalyzer, which was used solely for refining Ammonium into Hydrazine.
- The Chemistry Lab takes 10.0s to synthesize any resource. However, it takes a total of 13.5s per production cycle, when including the initial animation pulling the output tray into the lab and the pause before the tray emerges at the end of the synthesis.
- Despite this, the complete resource can be directly pulled out of the chamber at the base once synthesis is complete.
