EXO Automated Mass Production Protocol (2020)

The EXO Automated Mass Production Protocol was the third Limited Time Event in Astroneer. It was added with the Automation Update, and was accessible through the EXO Request Platform. It ran from June 24, 2020 to August 4, 2020.

The main objective of the event was to have players utilize the new Automation items. It requires players to provide specific amounts of resources, and was the first LTE that does not add up points for turning items in.

Notes

• Players are required to send the resources through the EXO Request Platform with the Medium Resource Canister, which can hold 32 items of one resource at a time. Players can also send 8 individual resources on the side of the EXO Request Platform, resulting in a maximum capacity of 40 items per launch. Each launch of the rocket costs 500 Bytes, no matter if the rocket has a full load or not.
• Players may only send the currently requested resource in the rocket, and will be unable to send any other resources of other tiers of the event. For example, when Aluminum is requested, Compound or Aluminum Alloy cannot be sent up.
• Rarely, a beach ball variant of a Recreational Sphere could be obtained.
