"Misplaced" Cargo are an event item in Astroneer, and part of the Project CHEER Delivery Event.
Source
"Misplaced" Cargo can be found scattered on different planets, mainly Sylva, during the Project CHEER Delivery Event.
Uses
"Misplaced" Cargo may be blown up with Dynamite to obtain Automatons, Cubic Objects, Stellar Objects, Astronium, and debris for scrap. The amount of items gained varies, typically giving enough items for more than 100 recovery points.
Trivia
- "Misplaced" Cargo were first introduced in 2020, instead giving 300 recovery points when sent up in the EXO Request Platform.
- "Misplaced" Cargo makes a crackling noise, like that from a geiger counter.
- "Misplaced" Cargo appears to have blue-green slime spreading out of it. The graphic for this slime is actually Astronium ore nodes.
- In addition to being found intact, there are also debris-falls which appear to be broken-open "Misplaced" Cargo.
