Automatons are event items in Astroneer, and part of the Project CHEER Delivery Event.

Automatons can be found around wrecked EXO Dynamics Delivery Crates or from blowing up "Misplaced" Cargo.

Uses

Automatons are used to gain Recovery Points from the EXO Request Platform, giving 20 points each.

Trivia

• Automatons resemble toy robots, with slightly different appearances and colors being swapped on the arms and feet.
• When hit by a rover, the Automatons make a sound that resembles either "ow", "owe" or "haha haha."
