- The Field Shelter can also rarely be obtained with 2x
Nanocarbon Alloy during the EXO Automated Mass Production Protocol event, as long as there is no canister on top of the rocket.
Uses

The Field Shelter is excellent for setting up a full base, as its only drawback is its reduced power supply in comparison to a regular Shelter. Field Shelters can also be picked up and relocated at any time. In addition, they will not flatten and replace the terrain around them with black dense rock when set up, allowing for players to have a more natural appeal to their bases.
Alternatively, the Field Shelter is good for players who wish to set up small, temporary bases while exploring the planets. When finished in the area, can be packed up with a 
Packager to move it, unlike the normal Shelter that is unable to be packaged once placed.
The Field Shelter has 2 cables on its sides and a single small slot on the back of its roof. It also provides oxygen and power with an irremovable Portable Oxygenator and two RTG pistons on either side of it, providing half the power [0.5 Units/s] of a normal Shelter.
