The Hydrazine Thruster is a reusable item in Astroneer. Hydrazine Thrusters are powered by Hydrazine and are used to propel vehicles, mainly the Shuttles, to travel to other planets.

Uses
Hydrazine Thrusters may be attached to any vehicle, though mainly used on Shuttles to fly to other planets. The thruster must be placed on the bottom of the shuttle to enable spaceflight. Around the base of the thruster are three Tier 1 slots meant for Hydrazine to fuel the thruster. A single canister of Hydrazine allows for eight take-offs and planet transitions, providing a maximum of 24 with all three slots filled.
The Hydrazine Thruster may also be used to propel a single Rover when attached to the front or back of it. When seated in a Rover Seat attached to said rover, the thruster may be toggled on and off with the Context Left Key if slotted to the back or the Context Right Key if slotted to the front. Launching into the air allows the player to fly great distances, with the ability to fly into space at the risk of the rover and everything attached being lost. Rover trains cannot be propelled with Hydrazine Thrusters.
