Chronos was an A.I. in Astroneer aboard the Elysium when it was sent to rescue the ESS Triton. Chronos is also the creator of EVA, which is found during the Awakening missions.

Lore

After the Elysium crashed, resulting in failure of its life support systems, Chronos uploaded the minds of the crewmembers to the Astroneer training Program within the Elysium, in the hopes that a rescue party will find the ship and rescue them. As the Elysium's systems continued to degrade, Chronos created EVA as a failsafe in case Chronos was unable to send a request for help to EXO.
