The Drill Mod 2 is a Terrain Toolaugment that can be attached to allow the Terrain Tool to deform terrain with a hardness level of 2 with ease while struggling to dig through terrain with a hardness of 3.
To use the Drill Mod 2, it needs to be attached to one of the three slots on the Terrain Tool. Use the tool as normal to dig through soil. The use of the drill mod requires power, and it will drain the backpack supply quickly. For longer use connect to tethers or have power generating items in the backpack, such as Small Wind Turbine, Small Generator or a QT-RTG.
It is best to use the drill mod on soil that the terrain tool struggles to or cannot dig through.
