Wrecked Solar Array

The Wrecked Solar Array is a Discovery, unique in that it is the only functional non-craftable Solar Panel in Astroneer.

Wrecked Solar Arrays can be found on all Planets, although extremely rare, they can be found lodged inside of the terrain in the same way as other bits of Debris. They can be towed using a Winch, although the Tractor and Medium Rover are not powerful enough. Using the Hoverboard to carry the winch allows for rapid transportation, but carries the risk of the wrecked solar array being launched into space by the player if they move too quickly.

Uses

• Has one cable plug and also has a power gauge on the front.

Trivia

• Prior to Missions, Compass, and Power Update, the Wrecked Solar Array was the only Solar Panel with a power output that fluctuated throughout the day.
