Vaults are a module, introduced in Astroneer: Glitchwalkers. They are used to progress the missions on Aeoluz.

Uses

Interacting with a Vault will spawn 4 Vault Keys on each side. Aligning the Vault Keys to match the pattern will highlight the key. Once all four keys are in the correct slot and orientation, they lock in and the Vault drive opens, providing a Rootkit to the player.

Trivia

• Vaults resemble USB drives.
• The tray that slides out when completing the puzzle resembles a CD drive.
