Scrap

Since presumably Scrap qualifies as a resource, should it deserve a spot on the nice flowchart diagram? Presumably in a corner in some box labeled "Misc" or "Other". 73.21.82.9 11:49, 31 August 2019 (UTC)

Scrap is more of a currency than a resource, but for consistency, it is listed along with the rest as it is still tied with obtaining resources. In the tree there is the icon for the trade platform, as a representation for the resource being obtained with scrap. Sdkphoenix (talk) 12:41, 31 August 2019 (UTC)

Graphic representation of resources (icons)

i see if i open the "map of resource crafting" at the top of the Resources page, i can review each of the icons for the resources. but as they are used in the game, and my eyes are not young, i need both LARGER icons displayed here to learn them and a LIST to be able to distinguish between them.

at the bottom of the resource crafting map, i can horizontally scroll through a list of icons, and should i click on one: i can see it alone shown to me larger. uncaptioned (no name shown directly below the icon). the file name of the icon does identify which one i am looking at. the raw source files for the icons on the server show them at 350x350 pixels.

perhaps a comprehensive alphabetical list of 150x150 pixel icons, please? this Catalog of Resources would help greatly.

for me, as presently displayed, the icons for Laterite and Lithium are nearly identical without a magnifying glass, even at the 90x90 pixel display of the scrolling list of the resource crafting map.

Hello there, and thank you for bringing this up. I'd be happy to offer ways to help those with sight problems, though some things you mentioned are just features of Fandom itself, such as the scrolling list of icons at the bottom of the resource map image, which is just a pre-generated gallery, based on the images used on the page, and not something that we have control over.

Two things that you could do is either open the source file for the resource tree by clicking on the See Full size image link next to the Resource Tree.png link in the top left after opening the initial image and clicking on the image to zoom in more, or going to each individual resource page and looking in the Media sections for the icons there. There is also the that displays all the icons, in alphabetical order.

Unfortunately, the size of the icons cannot change without starting to lose details and create artifacts due to the max icon size now being 128px, and any at 350 are from before they were scaled down in the game for performance reasons.
