Display Cases

Offering a place to display your collection of curios and oddities, you can print a Display Case for small items or a Case for medium items, which can be slotted on to the Display Case Platform. There are two variants: A 4x Tier-1 Attachment slot and a 3x Tier-2 Attachment Slot. Both cost the same to make.

Milestones

Contributing items and resources to the Museum will advance its milestones. Reaching the final milestone for each donation station provides helpful perks that boost your Astroneer kit. Each active perk consumes 5 U/s, and the boosts will decrease in effectiveness proportionally if underpowered. Reaching each milestone will also grant redeemable rewards.

Bytes can be donated to the Museum through an attached interface. The donation rate of Bytes per second can be manually adjusted to speed up or slow down.

  • First milestone: 5,000 Bytes, grants 5 Exo Chips.
  • Second milestone: 100,000 Bytes, grants a Shiny byte, a golden decoration item that has the same appearance as Frank's rootkits, but entirely golden.
  • Third milestone: 3,000,000 Bytes grants an increased Backpack power recharge speed.

Power can be donated to the Museum through its power connection slots. The power draw can be manually adjusted to speed up or slow down the power donation rate.
