The Large Gas Canister is a storage item in Astroneer. It allows players to store large amounts of atmospheric resources.

Uses
- The Large Gas Canister can hold up to 400 full canisters or 2,000 units of a single Atmospheric Resource. They cannot hold other types of resources, including Hydrazine and Soil.
Modes
The Player can cycle between the two modes of the Large Gas Canister by pressing 
, 
, or 
.
Input Mode
- When in this mode, the Large Gas Canister will collect one type of gas from any available storage or an active Atmospheric Condenser. It can only hold one type of gas at a time.
- If it is empty, it will take the first atmospheric resource it finds from such storage and start holding it.
Output Mode
- When in this mode, the Large Gas Canister will deposit the gas it is holding to any available storage.
