The Large Fluid & Soil Canister is a storage item in Astroneer. It allows players to store large amounts of fluid and soil.

Uses
- The Large Fluid & Soil Canister holds the same amount of Soil and Hydrazine as 300 Small Canisters. They cannot hold other types of resources, including atmospheric resources.
- Soil can either be extracted from or deposited into a Small Canister by toggling which mode the Large Fluid & Soil Canister is in.
Modes
The Player can cycle between the two modes of the Large Fluid & Soil Canister by pressing

, or 
.
Input Mode
- When in this mode, the Large Gas Canister will collect one type of fluid or soil from any available storage. It can only hold one type of fluid or soil at a time.
- If it is empty, it will take the first fluid or soil it finds from such storage and start holding it.
Output Mode
- When in this mode, the Large Fluid & Soil Canister will deposit Hydrazine it is holding to any available storage. Soil can only be extracted into a Small Canister.
