Large Battery

The Large Battery is a power storage item in Astroneer. It can hold more power than a Small Battery and a Medium Battery, and makes for a good reserve of power late-game.

Uses
- Power Throughput Rate: 25 U/s
- Power Capacity: 8192 U
- The Large Battery has a lot of visible columns, each of which is equivalent to a lot of Units.
Like the Medium Battery, Large Batteries accumulate power when production of energy exceeds demand for energy. The Large Battery will give away its stored energy whenever the network doesn't produce enough energy.
Notes
- Traveling to different planets will make the yellow bars move off of the center of the battery. The moved bars can not be collided with, but do move the outline of the battery when hovered over. Extensive space travel worsens the effect. This can normally be fixed by either resetting the game or packing the battery, then unpacking it.
- Accounting for size efficiency, it could theoretically be useful in some situations to fill a
Large Storage Silo B with Medium Storage Silos with Small Batteries, especially if throughput is desired. However, the power capacity is only slightly higher (9,216 compared to 8,192) and such a large throughput is not normally useful especially with the expense of this setup.
