Data Circuits are Lore items in Astroneer. They provide background to the various characters of the Astroneer universe.

Data Circuit Models A and B can be found in various locations across the Planets on unique, immoveable platforms known as Special Structures.

  • Uses

    Obtaining either the A or B type of Data Circuit model will start and progress either the Alert: New Schematic Available mission or Alert: Additional Schematic Available mission respectively. Finishing these missions will grant an EXO Chip, the Extra Large Resource Canister Schematic, A Large Rover Seat B and its Schematic.

    Currently there are no known uses for the C or D type Data Circuits.

    Trivia

    • Data Circuit Model A and B resemble floppy disks, while C and D resemble VHS tapes.
